Today, as I sit here composing this, it is raining outside. Our winter has been harder than what we have had in the last few years. Lots of snow, and ICE. About a month ago, we had a good snow storm which turned into a thick layer of ice which didn't melt off for a couple of weeks. I'm glad to say that it is now gone.
However, while the ice was still on the trees and everything else, I went out into the yard and took several pictures.
I went out the front door and gingerly stepped onto the ice covered side walk. With good balance, I stepped over the mound of snow that had accumulated from my shoveling the snow several times from the side walk. I checked my balance and took a step, and fell flat on my back. I set up and looked around to see if anyone had seen me. I didn't see anyone, and since no one had seen me, I wasn't embarrassed. I protected my camera during the fall; so, it was OK.
Now, as I begin to look forward to spring, I include a few of the pictures that I took.
Enjoy.
