The TRIP - Day 1

June 13, 2009

We got up at 5:45 AM and finished packing. We left for Aunt Pat's about 6:50. When we got there, she was up and ready to take us to the airport
Larry and Wanda were already there. we had a snack and went through the safety check.
Got to Dallas and called Bec to let her know that we were there; of course, there was no time to visit.
The next leg went with out event. There were two movies - INKHEART and RACER (I think). I watched the first, but not too much of the second.
We got to Honolulu at 2 PM local time (8 PM INDY) and spent our 1 hour lay over getting a snack.
The last leg took only about 45 minutes. After we got our luggage and picked up the car, we went to our condo. It was a nice place - two bed room etc. We went out to do some exploring and get some groceries for the next day or so.

When we got back, it was dark (~7:30). We were all beat, finished unpacking and hit the bed. - dead. It was 1 AM in INDY.
Of course I woke up at ~4 AM (local), but stayed in bed sleeping off and on for about 3 hours.

I was ready for day 2.
